Qualcuno ha definito il consiglio comunale aperto tenutosi qualche giorno fa come un clamoroso autogol della maggioranza in quanto era prevedibile che l'opposizione alla presenza dei lavoratori delle società Multiservizi e Rete Servizi facesse la parte del leone cavalcando la protesta e il malessere dei lavoratori che temono per il loro posto di lavoro.
E per certi versi si potrebbe pure dire che sia andata così perché è molto più semplice enunciare propositi teoricamente perfetti ma che non hanno alcun riscontro con la realtà ed in particolare con la situazione finanziaria in cui versa il Comune che proporre soluzioni difficili che rasentano la cd. "macelleria sociale" ossia incidono in modo non indifferente sui posti di lavoro.
Sono dell'idea che invece questo consiglio comunale aperto si dovesse tenere perché è il consiglio comunale il luogo dove le varie problematiche devono essere discusse e tanto più esse sono delicate e incisive per il futuro della vita cittadina tanto più ampia deve essere la partecipazione al dibattito.
Anche a costo di dover assistere ad interventi che si limitano a rendere omaggio all'arte della retorica e alla pratica della demagogia.
