Preferivo i supereroi americani come i F4 (storie eccezionali, dialoghi frizzanti, talvolta retorici, altre volte intensi, perfettamente calati nella loro epoca complessa; un cattivo da manuale come il Dottor Destino, un ingenuo poeta delle stelle come Silver Surfer, un mangiapianeti impareggiabile come Galactus), i Vendicatori, il vecchio - già vecchio per la mia generazione - Uomo Mascherato, per non parlare di Superman e Batman, che negli anni '70 acquisì un carattere più cupo, allontanandosi dal fumetto e dalla trasposizione televisiva anni '60.
